The Louis Poulsen PH 5 pendant lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen.
The PH5 was first introduced in 1958 at the exhibition "Glass, light and colors" in the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen. The hanging lamp is designed to be hung low above a table, while it also emits subdued light to the environment. In Denmark, about one in two households has a PH5 pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen. So you can say that this is a true design classic!
The largest screen of the PH 5 hanging lamp by Louis Poulsen has a diameter of 50 centimeters. The height of the fixture is 28.5 centimeters. This pendant lamp is available in 5 matt powder coat colors: white, white / pale pink, dark gray / turquoise, army green / dark pink and pale pink / green. The lamp is made of aluminum. The cable is 3 meters and a canopy is supplied. The light source has a standard fitting (E27) for a halogen lamp of up to 200 Watt or a CFL (CFL) of 23/30 W.
